Are you looking for a socially distant holiday experience? The drive-through Winter Lights Festival In Seneca Creek State Park is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and it’s just a 15-minute drive from Liberty Mill. Feel warm and bright knowing that some proceeds will support local food donation groups as you enjoy an evening of twinkling lights.
Gaze at sparkling trees while you drive through a wintery wonderland of over 450 delightful displays. Have your favorite holiday music ready to go and bring a mug of hot cocoa to keep the holiday cheer going throughout the ride. The 3.5 mile drive could take 30 minutes to complete, or as long as 2 hours on a busy night. You’ll feel like you are riding through a holiday movie as you watch magnificent silhouettes of holiday characters, treats, and glittering winter scenes.
Make a reservation for any night through December 31. This year, it’s preferred that you buy your tickets online ahead of time on their website. You’ll even get a discount when you buy advanced online tickets at $12 for each car, SUV, or minivan. Each vehicle driver is also required to wear a mask at the admission booth. We hear that you can avoid crowds if you visit on a weeknight instead of a weekend! Be sure to slow down and take pictures from your vehicle to capture the moment.
